prospective tutors and/or tutor trainers would like to have
answered. A volunteer will write them on an easel during the
first break.
4:10-4:20 Classic definitions of dyslexia translated into
plain English.
4:20-4:30 Fonnix Ken Bea Phun Pre-Test.
4:30-4:45 BREAKTIME.
4:45-5:00 Logic and dyslexics. Why teaching LEFT to RIGHT is
WRONG! AVKO’S TRAINER RULE #1: How a word sounds at its
beginning depends upon its ending!” So, NEVER say, “Sound it
out!”
5:00-5:15 The linguistic concept of Sandhi or synaloepha
extremely important but never taught in the colleges of

Sequential Spelling demonstration with dyslexic students.
10:45-11:00 Almost Open Question and Answer period.
Questions that were submitted earlier will not be addressed
at this time because they most likely will be answered later
on. This period is for new questions as the result of what
has already been presented
