  • How do I get my membership e-books?

Just login to the membership section once your membership is active and click on the download links on the membership homepage. 

  • I have not received my e-books.  When will I receive them?

Please first note that we have two means of e-book ordering--instant delivery and manually-e-mailed delivery (an attachment).  If you chose instant delivery, please first check your spam folder for the e-mail with a link directly to your download.  You can also view the e-books you have purchased by going to your AVKO profile.

If you chose manual delivery, e-books are e-mailed within 2-3 business days.

  • I can't remember my username or password.

Use the forgot your password form on the login screen for your AVKO profile.  Enter the e-mail address you used to sign up, and you will receive an e-mail with your login information.  Please note that login information is case-sensitive.

  • I can't login or I am receiving an error message when I try to login.

Follow the applicable links included in the error message that you received. 

Please try logging into your AVKO profile first.  If you can't login there, enter your e-mail address in the Forgot password box to retrieve your login information. 

If you were able to login to your AVKO profile, click on the Subscriptions tab to verify your account status.  You can renew your membership if necessary there. 

Please note that if you are not an active member, but have ordered e-books through our automated system, you can access them from the AVKO profile page but cannot use the Member Login form.

  • When does my membership expire?

Login to your AVKO profile and click on the "Subscriptions" tab.  This will list your memberships and purchased e-books, along with their expiration dates, if applicable.

  • I started to create a membership but I got interrupted or my payment did not go through.  How do I complete it? 

Login to your AVKO profile using the username and password you created.  Click on the Subscriptions tab, select the membership you would like, choose your payment method, and then click on "Subscribe."  Complete the payment steps.  If you were unsuccessful in using the "Visa, Mastercard, and Discover" option, please try the other payment option (that lists Paypal).

  • I want to renew my membership for the discounted price of $15, but I can no login to the member section.

Login to your AVKO profile using the username and password you used for your membership.  You can still login to this area.  Click on the Subscriptions tab and choose the "Ind. Membership Renewal" option for $15, choose your payment method, and then click "Subscribe."  Complete the payment steps.

Orders and Payments

  • Has my order shipped?

We send an e-mail through our shopping cart program notifying of shipping, including a UPS tracking number if applicable.  Sometimes these e-mails end up in spam folders.  You may view your order's status using the shopping cart service using the five-digit order number listed on your order e-mail (e.g., 18434).  You can contact us for more information.   Please have your online order number available. 

  • Which methods of payment do you accept? 

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept Paypal and the other payment options available through Paypal, including electronic checks.  We only accept American Express through the Paypal payment method option.  You do NOT need to have a Paypal account to pay using Paypal as your payment method (simply use the "Guest" option).  International customers are encouraged to use Paypal as their payment option as payments tend to run more smoothly. 

  • When I look at my payment history on my AVKO profile, it lists several payments with "init" for $25 or $15.  Will I be charged multiple times?

Only payment attempts with "completed" next to them will be reflected on your credit/bank statement.  Attempts with "init" listed next to them are payments that were "initialized" but were declined for whatever reason -- these attempts will not be re-attempted.
